Strip parquet from Parkett Nürnberger

Classic parquet floor

Strip parquet is the classic long-lasting parquet floor (e.g. ship's bond, herringbone pattern, cube).

Good heat transfer • minimal gap formation • underfloor heating

Originally available as a solid single strip, for example 22 mm thick, today also available as a two-layer parquet (for example 10 mm). Two-layer parquet is well suited as a replacement for carpets and elastic coverings, for example, but also for underfloor heating (good heat transfer and relatively little gap formation).

Many types of wood

Common plank dimensions are 40-50 cm long and 6-7 cm wide. The individual laying elements of two-layer parquet are also referred to as parquet planks. Available in many different types of wood, e.g. oak, beech, maple, smoked oak, walnut and various exotic woods such as doussie or jatoba. Also available in the very hard grass species bamboo.

Full-surface bonding • Surface treatment

In any case, strip parquet must be glued over the entire surface to an existing dry, solid, level surface (e.g. screed). All surface treatments (e.g. sealing, oiling, waxing) are possible.
