Vertical slats

Parquet slats upright • Commercial and residential areas

Historically, vertical slats consist of oak mosaic parquet slats that were placed vertically and laid in a ladder-like pattern.

This wooden floor, originally designed for commercial and workshop spaces, is now also very popular in private homes. In addition to a thickness of around 2 cm, vertical slatted floors are also produced today in a thickness of around 1 cm.

High-quality subfloor • Surface treatment

Since, from a static point of view, these are individual, unconnected slats, a high-quality subfloor, such as a flat, dry and solid screed, is extremely important. After sanding, the surface can be sealed, waxed or oiled.
