Thickness similar to carpet • durable

Many carpets and other floor coverings are now being replaced by parquet and wooden floors.

On the one hand, the parquet should not be significantly thicker than the existing carpet, but on the other hand, a similar longevity and stability should be achieved as with thicker parquet floors.

Full-surface bonding even on old floorboards

Parkett Nürnberger offers you solutions such as approx. 10 mm thick, two-layer parquet floors with a similar wear layer thickness to much thicker parquet floors, but with the same appearance and durability thanks to full-surface bonding. Parkett Nürnberger also lays slightly thicker parquet floors on old floorboards, which is a classic form of parquet laying.

Many pattern options • Underfloor heating

When replacing a carpet with underfloor heating, the thermal conductivity of the floor structure generally increases and thus the effectiveness of the underfloor heating. (see page "Parquet underfloor heating")

Various types of wood • contemporary looks/surfaces possible

The types of wood available are of course oak, smoked antique oak, steamed classic oak, Canadian maple, Apa/Doussie, black cherry, black walnut, steamed and unsteamed beech, ash, hornbeam, jatoba, iroko, sweet chestnut, European cherry, limbali, merbau, red oak, steamed Norway maple, teak and wenge. Trendy surfaces and looks such as Black & White Oak, Earth & Snow, Frost & Fire, Milk & Honey, SunDust Oak.

The following surface treatments are possible: easy-care sealing, object sealing for heavily used floors, brushed, bevelled, OXY pre-oiled, modern whitish-grey look, oiling, waxing.

Removal and disposal of old coverings • Substrate preparation

Our range of services also includes removing and disposing of existing old floor coverings, sanding/milling, priming and filling the subfloor as well as professional installation, including full-surface bonding, surface treatment, skirting boards and finishing strips.

Care instructions • Care

Of course, Parkett Nürnberger will also give you instructions on the correct care, appropriate written care instructions and specially suitable care products. If necessary, we will of course also help you to care for your floors or to upgrade them with a new surface treatment by applying care oils or polishing or sanding and sealing/oiling.
