Holzpflaster

Vertical fibers • Doubling of wood hardness

Wood paving is the classic industrial floor. The fibers are vertical and point upwards, which roughly doubles the hardness of the wood. The fact that wood paving is particularly prone to movement is therefore accepted.

Individual blocks • unique wood pattern

These units, consisting of individual blocks, have a unique wood appearance, which is often used in homes as well as commercial areas (e.g. factories, storage rooms, workshops, restaurants, libraries).

2-8 cm thickness • Surface flat and solid

Thicknesses of over 2 to around 8 cm can be achieved here, mostly in local types of wood (e.g. pine, spruce/fir, oak). After gluing the wood onto a very high-quality, flat, solid and dry surface, the floor is sanded down and given a surface treatment (e.g. sealing, waxing, oiling). Wooden paving is only suitable to a very limited extent on underfloor heating.
